Turning Consuming Thoughts Into Deflating Balloons!

Have you ever seen an employee at a place like Disneyland with tons of balloons tugging at their arm?

Let's picture it. When it gets a bit windy, a little girl as cute as can be with pigtails requests the balloon at the very top. "I want the red one!" The employee puts on their smile and begins to pull down the red one.

Meanwhile, the wind and tugging from the balloons are begging the employee to just let go.

Just as she is halfway to untangling it, the little girl says, "I want the blue one, no wait, maybe the yellow one." Can you see the overwhelmed employee as they paste on their fake smile?

Those balloons represent the minds of many of us who live in the fast pace of Southern California. Thoughts float in and out of your head all day. In my experience, they tug at you and make you feel overwhelmed. By the end of the day, nothing has been resolved, and you feel like your brain has been in a marathon of tangled balloons pushing you back and forth.

Do you feel like your brain is a bunch of balloons moving back and forth, getting increasingly tangled? In therapy, we learn to calm the mind and process the thoughts in a manner that untangles them. Just imagine decreasing much of the pressure in your everyday thought life by unraveling, releasing, or even popping those thoughts. Contact me today, and let's get started.
