Ready For a Therapy Intensive?

Who this is for

For caregivers, teachers, pastors, police officers, nurses, and others in high-demand roles, the calling is real, the need is constant, and the weight can be heavy. You give so much of yourself to others. Over time, that kind of service can become exhausting without space for restoration. This is your invitation to step out of urgency and into renewal, reflection, and wise discernment.

Why this can help you

You are not called to carry everything. You are called to serve faithfully, wisely, and sustainably. A therapy intensive is like choosing a concentrated cleaner to speed up the healing process — it provides focused support for what has built up over time. This is a way to slow down, listen deeply, and return to your work with greater clarity and compassion before burnout takes over.

Benefits

  • Grounding and clarity: Clients often leave feeling more grounded, more clear, and more connected to themselves and their values.
  • Deep, efficient work: For many, the intensive offers the depth of several weeks of therapy in one focused day.
  • Practical integration: Tools and next steps tailored to your life so you can return to your work with greater clarity and compassion.

What an intensive looks like

In a one-day intensive, I help clients slow down, get clear on what’s keeping them stuck, and begin processing what their mind and body have been carrying. Using a personalized approach that may include somatic work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Brainspotting, I create space for meaningful insight, emotional relief, and movement toward healing in a concentrated time frame.

FAQ

Who benefits from an intensive?

People needing concentrated focus and movement when weekly therapy isn’t feasible.

Will one day be enough?

Clients report depth and relief comparable to several sessions, though follow-up depends on your goals and depth of your story. You are welcome to complete one day as an individual and schedule another later if needed.

Is this trauma-informed and safe?

Yes — work is paced to your capacity and integrates body-centered and evidence-based approaches.

Can I use my insurance?

No. Insurance does not cover this service, and superbills are not provided.

If I live outside of California, can I participate in an intensive?

Any client physically present in California during the intensive is able to participate. Online participation is not available from an out-of-state home due to licensing requirements of the State of California. Corrie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist bound by CA rules.
